The Child of the Moon

Are you going for dream hunting
Tonight?
With your Bat-suit on and your
Wings fluttering in the dark,
With all the world to save from the
Evils of the night.

But when the night becomes the
Knight,
What then Darling!
Do you feel lonely inside that suit?
Does that suit replaces
Your skin with all its enmity?

Does your tears run dry, while
Trying to forget you future?
Don’t you feel the burden of
Being the child of the
Moon?
Don’t you miss your life inside you?

Do you miss your love, running
Inside your veins,
Turning caliginous with the
The darkness inside your soul?
Don’t you feel the thirst or the hunger
For the warmth?

Don’t you feel the need to be close?
