Delhi Blast Updates : 30 killed and over a 100 people injured

NDTV reports of 30 killed and over a 100 people injured in yesterday's serial blasts in Delhi. The blasts took place in Karol Bagh, Connaught Place, Greater Kailash-I and Barakhamba Road in a span of 25 minutes. Four more bombs found at India Gate, Regal cinema & Central Park were defused.

In an email to the media organizations, the terrorist organization
Indian Mujahideen claimed responsibility for the blasts. The explosions happened in the following sequence :

1. Gaffar market area of Karol Bag at 6:10pm, explosives were placed near a car and because of the severity of the explosion an auto was thrown up several feet.

2.
Connaught Place area where blasts happened in dustbins.

3.
On Barakhamba Road.

4. Greater Kailash - 1 in the M-Block market.

Two persons have been detained by the police for questioning. The police say that a 12-year-old boy may be able to provide clues.

As usual, the protocol urged Mr Prime Minister to condemn the blasts and appeal for calm. I wonder whether he would be able to remain calm himself had his own house had been caught in the explosion. Is there anything being done about these increasing terrorist activities other than everytime there is a blast the Prime Minister urging the Nation to remain calm and forgetting the whole incident by the time he reaches home that night? Do we really care to know what is being done anymore or do we want results instead of the in
conspicuous mindless drones of Mr Prime Minister after every blast in India? Would the government really take any serious step this time? Would these blasts be able to shake the nerves of Delhites? To know more about the Delhi serial blast subscribe to our feed.
